This is my page of sounds! I like sounds.
Just choose the type of link you'd like to link to, and away you go!
These are my WAV files:
These are my midi files, which you might hear when on this page.
A more recently discovered type of sound is the MP3 file. MP3 stands for MPEG Layer 3. This is a type of sound file that can reproduce CD quality sounds and music.
Here is an early version of a player called WinPlay: mp3_play.zip (192k)
This was the most commonly used player until WinAmp was released. Register it to get all the goodies!
If you want the newest version, go to the Layer 3 Audio site: http://www.iis.fhg.de/departs/amm/layer3/
(Note: This player works best with a Pentium processor and a good sound card, specifically one that can support 16-bit stereo sound. Windows 95 is required for this particular player, as far as I know.)
A newer player that doesn't require registration and works very nicely is
WinAmp: winamp.zip (155k)
You can select multiple files and drag them into the player, choosing tracks like a CD player. You can also move
around in a song, something WinPlay does not do. I personally prefer this player over WinPlay.
Here's a couple of example files for you to check out. Be reminded that you are only to use these as a test. If you want an actual song from an actual artist, you are encouraged to buy the CD; please erase the file when you're done.
Please take me to the top of the page now.
